Artist and writer Ken Hudson was born and raised in Toronto where he has participated in the arts all of his life. He received his degree in literature from the University of Toronto and pursued post-graduate study at the Institute for the Psychological Study of the Arts. After writing a play, The First Lie, in 1994, Ken studied physical theatre with a range of internationally recognized artists and teachers before forming a theatrical laboratory with like-minded colleagues. Since that time he has created works applying his distinct theatrical process, notably The King #5 Henry , Flying Dog Show, and his most recent work, Hamlet's Echo, part of his Android Meme Cycle. Ken's works have been featured in a variety of press including The Globe and Mail, National Post, Victoria Times Colonist, CityTV, Global TV, Media Television, CBC radio, and his own online blog.
